I’ve created this site to share the genealogy stories I’ve been working on and to make them easy to enjoy with family and friends.
Over the past 30 years, I’ve collected and studied historical records and family stories, building a database of more than 6,000 people connected to our family. Along the way, I’ve completed direct descendant reports for the Drake, Clark, and Parent families, and I’m continuing to expand that work.
To sharpen my research skills, I began by studying two World War I soldiers from Ellis County, which eventually grew into detailed stories for 16 soldiers and 1 sailor. These are now featured as virtual memorials on Fold3.com and the Doughboy Foundation website—I’ll be sharing those links here soon.
My goal for this site is to post two or three stories each month, highlighting different pieces of our family history.
In 2025, I turned my focus even more toward this work. With the help of updated tools in Family Tree Maker, I began organizing my research into a family history book for my children. From June 2025 to June 2026, I completed 72 family stories.
I am now finishing the final edits and exploring publishing options—more on that soon.
There’s a lot to share, and I’m glad you’re here.
